This method involves soaking the hemp seeds in water. Also used for older seeds.
Soak your cannabis seeds in lukewarm 22℃ water without chlorine overnight.
• Maintain temperature: 21-25 ℃
Cannabis seeds that initially float show a better chance of germination.
You’ll see that a white root appearing. This usually happens within 1 to 3 days but can take up to 7 days.
Gently remove the seed and get it ready for the next stage.
Using a wet towel is another pre-germination method.
• Wet a paper towel (not dripping)
• Place your cannabis seeds inside
• Plate it: Place the towel on a paper plate with another plate on top.
• Put them in a warm place 21-25 ℃: Leave for at least 1 day and up to 7 days, checking periodically for any root. Wet the towel if necessary.
A more natural method with no pre-germination tricks.
1. Use pot: Take your pot and fill with seed soil.
2. Make a hole in the middle (4mm).
3. Put the seed inside.
4. Use chlorine-free water: The soil should be moist but not overly saturated.
5. Place in proper location: Find a warm area of 21-25℃
6. Proper temperature: 71–77 ℉ /21-25 ℃ is ideal.
7. Wait three days: It will take, on average, between 3 and 7 days for germination.
The little blocks you’ve probably seen at your local garden shop are suitable for cannabis seeds.
• Immerse the cubes: pH of 5.6–5.8 water.
• Gently squeeze: Do this to wring out any excess water.
• Place the cannabis seeds: Into the pre-formed hole.
• Cover the hole: Not too tightly, in order for oxygen to reach the seed.
• Choose a warm location 21-25 ℃
• Wait three days: It should take around 3 to 5 for germination to occur.
A starter kit is a convenient method that gives you everything you need for germination.
• Put supplied bacteria in water.
• Water the Spongepots: Use the bacteria-water to water the pots.
• Drain: Drain away any excess water.
• Plant seeds: Plant one seed per pot.
• Maintain temperature: 71 and 77 ℉ / 21-25 ℃.
• Time to wait: Seeds should germinate between 3 and 7 days later.
When it comes to cannabis germination pay attention to:
• Leaving seeds for too long in moisture.
• Incorrect planting methods (direction: seed’s crown up/depth: 3mm).
• Maintain temperature: 71 and 77 ℉ / 21-25 ℃.
