Early Skunk Auto Feminised builds upon the success that is Early Skunk making it not only an auto-flowering variety but a feminised one at that. It is a vigorous plant with great resistance to pests and fungal attacks. An ideal plant for cool, northern European summers. Early Skunk Auto is 70% indica and its ruderalis genes enables it to continue to flower even in uneven light conditions and through erratic weather patterns such as are familiar to anyone living in northern Europe. Flowering begins automatically when plants have grown between 6 and 9 sets of leaves. This flowering period will last for a further 7 – 9 weeks. If left a bit longer the buds will usually fatten up a bit more and will produce more resin. Even growers living in Scandinavian countries will get a harvest before the weather turns cold and/or wet. Growers at lower latitudes can harvest 2 or even 3 crops especially if started indoors in March to provide them with a head start before being transplanted outdoors.
The buds are large and rounded in appearance with those surrounding the main stem joining up to form a large central cola. This pattern is repeated on side branches making the plant look very top-heavy. The aroma is very musky, sweet and pungent in true Skunk fashion but outdoor growers will not have to be too concerned with its smell when growing outdoors in anything like the same manner as indoor growers of Skunk strains. On top of this there is a spicy character to its smell which is explained by the extra helping of sativa genetics from the Early Pearl genes in this strain. The effect is firmly centred in the body, is warm and comfortable but also having an “up” quality from the sativa side. It is a pleasantly satisfying stone but one which will not prove too intense for medicinal users.
