Kerosene Krash has super sticky buds full of trichomes and terpenes. How can you make Kerosene Krash even more powerful? There are many “tricks” to make a strain even stronger. Some are scientifically proven methods. Others may not be proven, but are common practice in the growing community. If we can recommend a method from the scientific side, we would recommend using a UVB lamp. These lamps, which emit mainly UVB light, give the plant an extra boost to produce even more trichomes and THC. A UVB lamp only needs to be used for 3-4 hours a day for the last 3-4 weeks. This simulates strong sunlight as found in the equatorial summer sun. The plant protects its flowers by producing even more hairs. This mimics the increased production of pigment in our skin as we are exposed to the strong sun. A tip/trick is to leave the plant in the dark for the last 2-3 days before harvesting. This is believed to increase resin production. But make sure you remember to water your plant, even in the dark they will still drink. Another tip used by licensed growers is to add cold/cold air during the overnight dark period. This is believed to make the weed even stronger and may also encourage color production in the buds, adding to the visual appeal. Other shock methods used to stress the plant, such as watering the plant with ice cubes, remain popular with some growers despite a lack of scientific evidence. Outside they can produce more than half a kilo per plant. We recommend its cultivation in sunny and dry areas. Wet and cold outdoor climates are not recommended as they can cause rot and mold.
