In the 90s, all cannabis sellers and growers were frantically searching for the ultimate Skunk. During this time, many growers tried to reproduce that Mexican, Colombian, Afghani hybrid, which led to the creation of a huge variety of different Skunks. The genetics of these cannabis plants would eventually form the basis for almost all types of marijuana in Europe.
At Royal Queen Seeds we decided to bring you a classic Skunk hybrid at a lower price by crossing Skunk with the Power Bud variety. Ideal for someone who is a first-time grower and doesn’t want to invest a lot of money in the experimental stage they are in. Special Queen 1 is a classic skunk that is easy to grow, doesn’t grow too big and is ready to harvest in 8-9 weeks.

Indoors it will grow up to 1.5 meters so it needs a little more space. Outdoors, on the other hand, it will grow up to 3 meters. It needs plenty of good sun but is also suitable for the climates of Northern European countries such as the Netherlands or Great Britain. It is mainly Sativa and its flowers spread along the entire length of the plant offering an excellent harvest for an 8-week Sativa.
Indoors, the seeds will grow into plants that yield around 500g/m² under 600W of light. Sow your Special Queen 1 seeds outdoors and the plants will grow big and strong and can yield over 550g per plant. It needs care to ensure it has all the nutrients and water it needs to grow and become strong. At the same time, however, you need to be careful not to overdo it with how much water and nutrients you give it.
Special Queen 1 cannabis seeds germinate quickly and develop into relatively easy-to-grow plants that don’t require much care. They are perfect for both hydroponic and soil growing, while Special Queen 1 seeds are also suitable for sea/screen of green growing. We recommend a flowering period of 8-9 weeks for this strain, but many growers have harvested as early as week 7.
