WHITE WIDOW – GREENHOUSE SEEDS

‎ ‎White Widow is a very famous cannabis strain that has been a staple of the Dutch coffee-shop scene since the mid-1990s.

It is a cross of a Brazilian and a South Indian (Keralan) plant. White Widow is 60% indica and is named after the white appearance of its heavy covering of THC-bearing resin.

This is another cannabis strain from Green House Seed Co. that they recommend to employ SCRoG with during cultivation indoors. In this environment White Widow can produce yields of 800 gr/m² in an eight week flowering time.

Cultivation outdoors brings yields of up to 900 gr/plant by the end of September in northern Europe making it a good choice for mild, temperate climates. This strain produces levels of THC of 18.76% with CBD of 0.1% and CBN of 0.28%.

It has a soft, smooth smoke and the effect is really quite special and rather complex. It hits with a powerful indica effect which can pin you to your seat but then after a while it evolves into a more cerebral and relaxing sativa high.

It made such an impression when it was first introduced that it won the High Times Cannabis Cup for Bio at the first attempt in 1995.
